Your Role:
In this role, you'll work end-to-end to ensure our innovative digital products leverage current and emerging AWS capabilities. You will design, deploy, and maintain scalable and reliable AWS infrastructure, utilizing services like EC2, S3, RDS, and VPC. As a key member of the team, you will have the opportunity to shape designs, practices, and solutions on industry-leading assignments, building and deepening your technical expertise.
About You:
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
- Strong expertise in AWS services and solutions.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes and containerization technologies.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, Travis CI, GitLab CI/CD).
- Solid programming skills, especially in node.js.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform or CloudFormation).
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Desirable Requirements:
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).
- Knowledge of other programming and scripting languages.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, ELK Stack).
- Security and compliance expertise.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable AWS infrastructure.
- Developing and implementing automation scripts and tools.
- Building and managing CI/CD pipelines for software delivery.
- Implementing security best practices and compliance controls.
- Setting up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
- Working with Docker and Kubernetes on AWS (EKS).
- Identifying cost-saving opportunities and optimizing resource utilization.
- Designing and implementing disaster recovery strategies and fault-tolerant architectures.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to promote a DevOps culture.
- Documenting processes and infrastructure changes.
