Front End Developer - Hybrid/Remote - Bracknell - £50,000

Job Title: Frontend Developer
Responsibilities:
As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for:
- Supercharging our complex e-commerce products, collaborating with a team to deliver high-quality solutions
- Crafting scalable functionality using a modular approach for websites and intranet systems
- Decoding and writing requirement briefs, specifications, wireframes, and designs
- Mentoring and teaming up with fellow developers
- Helping shape our frontend solutions and processes
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong HTML and CSS (SASS/Compass is our chosen pre-compiler)
- Rock-solid JavaScript/ES6
- Good understanding of React or Angular
- Git/GitHub - version control
- Mobile and responsive web design
- Content Management Systems
- API's both third party & internal
- Debugging using tools like Chrome Developer Console
Nice-to-haves (but not deal-breakers):
- Experience managing large-scale projects (project management or team lead experience)
- Understanding of SMACSS/BEM
- Familiarity with agile/scrum methodologies
- Pair programming & code reviews
- Cross-browser compatibility issues and workarounds
