Our Permanent Recruitment Process
Hiring for a permanent role? You can either throw a load of, er stuff, at the wall and hope something sticks. Or you can follow our tried and tested formula…
Step 1: Engagement
Share the role details, requirements and information on what character attributes you are looking for with us so we're aligned on exactly who and what you need.
Step 2: Market Mapping
We’ll survey the talent pool, including our constantly growing network of talent, and provide our expert view on how it measures up to your requirements.
Step 3: Talent Attraction
We’ll get to work finding the best talent from across our existing networks (and beyond), engaging with candidates that fit the bill.
Step 4: Showcase
We’ll present back a shortlist of potential candidates to narrow down the search, backed by our extensive research and insights.
Step 5: Interviews
First stage interviews with your chosen candidates to better understand their skills, experience and cultural fit. (We’ll do this bit for you!). Leading contenders will then progress through your process.
Step 6: Hiring
When you’ve found a candidate you’re delighted with, we’ll take care of the offer negotiation process. From salary expectations and total compensation through to final offer we can handle it all.
Step 7: Aftercare
Our service comes with a personal touch, so we’ll always keep your candidate in the loop and check on how everything's going — even after the offer and start date!

Permanent Recruitment FAQS
What is permanent recruitment?
Permanent recruitment is the process of finding a candidate to fill a permanently contracted position within a business, organisation or company. The employee remains under the same contract, which may be subject to change in the future (for example changes to salary and working hours). Permanent employees are typically brought in with a view to a long-term working relationship.
What’s the difference between permanent and contract recruitment?
While permanent employees have an ongoing contract with the employer, contract recruitment differs in that the candidate is placed with a business for a set period of time. This could be anything from a few weeks to several months or longer. Another way contract recruitment is slightly different to permanent is the recruiter often negotiates a day rate of payment with the employer, rather than a fixed salary.
What does a permanent job type mean?
A permanent job is one where the employee is contracted on a permanent basis, rather than over a set or pre-defined period of time. Permanent employees are usually hired for a long-term role with the intention of progressing alongside the business.
What is a permanent recruitment service?
A permanent recruitment service is where a specialist recruitment agency takes over the search and negotiation to help the business find a suitable candidate. In some situations, the recruitment agency may also support first stage interviews and other parts of the process.
